Scalp Detox

This treatment is an extension of the Japanese Head Spa but much more targeted towards issues of the scalp and hair.

There are many reasons you could be having issues with the scalp, some of the more common issues are:

• Itchy inflamed scalp
• Excess oil

More importantly the reason you are having these issues could be due to so many other factors:

All play a part in our overall health.

We have to stress at this point we are not medical professionals, if you are suffering with any severe symptoms, we will refer you to your doctor or trichologist who can help your further.

However, what we can do to help is give you a deep scalp detox. This natural plant-based treatment contains a mixture of:

• Bentonite clay – which naturally draws out toxins by absorbing them, removing build up
• L-ascorbic acid – The purest form of vitamin C. It is crystallised to preserve the effectiveness and potency, activated with tap water, removes all complex compounds on the scalp and the hair follicles. Making it a clear, clean, fresh environment for your scalp to breathe and your hair to grow.
• Zinc – which then naturally sooths and conditions the scalp

Complex compounds lie on the surface of the scalp and form a plaque this plaque is made up of medication, skin, product build up, metals, minerals, pollution, chemicals and toxins, there really is no way of knowing 100% what the build-up is made from but it shouldn’t be there and could be the root cause to some scalp issues.

We will use a scope for you to see for yourself, before and after the treatment in the same places so you can see the results, more sessions maybe needed for more severe cases.

A heated cap is placed on the scalp after our solution is added, this further activates the ingredients to do their job. This not only removes the plaque from the scalp but also product build-up in the hair leaving it the cleanest its ever felt. We also recommend this treatment before your regular colour appointment; the hair and scalp are prepared giving you a much more vibrant longer lasting colour.

Once the build-up is removed, we will then treat the scalp with targeted products for your individual concerns this maybe a mixture of scalp and hair treatments. With the plaque removed the products can then penetrate through the scalp to really make a difference

We have the back up of our suppliers with a full online shop where we will recommend the relevant products for you to purchase to enhance the results at home. We have to stress what you do at home after the ‘in-salon’ treatment is so very important for maintaining results.

The home care is made up of shampoo’s, conditioners, treatment sprays, serums, masks. All these products are concentrated without water. Again in there purest form from the aloe vera plant, root extracts, oils, natural acids, and essential oils. These products can be pricy however they last longer and you need less due to its potency.
